Meet The Expertise of Dr. Yeilding & Trust The Process
Before your consultation, assess your eyelid condition. Dr. Yeilding is highly skilled in this cosmetic procedure. She is board certified by The American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery and The American Board of Ophthalmology, with specialized training in oculoplastics and facial cosmetic surgery. Dr. Yeilding focuses on Blepharoplasty and aims to exceed your expectations with her results. Most patients of all ages typically need only one surgery for both upper and lower eyelids. This procedure often improves vision, reduces under-eye bags, and gives a more alert appearance, boosting your confidence afterward.
Research Programs
2004
Assisted with a survey of 2,500 households to assess knowledge of HIV and HIV therapies. Developed a profile of the patient population in a typical hospice to understand the clinical outcomes that occur when antiretrovirals are introduced into the sickest population.
2002-2003
Investigated the effects of nicotine on apoptosis in neural development of the chick embryo.
2002
Analyzed and wrote a report regarding the formation of cloning policy in the Senate Department of Public Health.
2012
Local IRB approved study with informed consent comparing efficacy, onset of action, duration of effect for the treatment of facial wrinkles.
2011
Conducted a study of the Corneal Endothelium in pediatric patients with Marfan Syndrome after cataract extraction.
2010
Reviewed periorbital infections after Dermabond closure for traumatic lacerations in children.
2009-2010
Conducted a multicenter retrospective study analyzing and making recommendations on early surgical management of capillary hemangiomas.
2009
Participated in the earliest clinical studies in femtosecond laser cataract surgery. Collected and analyzed photodisrupted laser capsulotomies from the human clinical trials in Mexico City, MX.
2006-2008
Contributed to the pre-clinical work to use a laser to restore accommodative amplitude to the human crystalline lens addressing presbyopia. Led efforts creating a lens tissue culture system achieving the longest viable cultured lenses during the project. Planned and performed animal trials in rabbits and monkeys. Helped plan human clinical trials.
