A healthy diet and exercise is used everywhere to be able to keep our body and minds fully healthy. Not only that but it’s used universally as a way to shed the pounds and get the body we truly want. It’s a “fail-safe” formula for that toned physique you see yourself dreaming about sometimes.
Putting that aside, there is times where rigorous exercise and a strict diet doesn’t work. This is simply because here are some places on our bodies that are resistant to the change we want. When that happens, a lot of people look to other means of shredding that fat. Some of them are Coolsculpting and Liposuction. The difficult part is trying to figure out what is the better option for you and your body. That’s why we’re here to help.
The first on the list is Liposuction. You may have heard about it more often then not. It’s one of the more commonly performed surgical procedures for weight loss. It is a surgical procedure done by a plastic surgeon and requires anesthesia and a longer recovery time to be more effective. The surgeon will insert a thin tube into the area you’d like to work on and then the fat is sucked out. The recovery time is about a week and that’s when the bruising will eventually fade. It’s said that if you gain weight that fat won’t return but the fat cells that remain will expand.
Now is when we introduce you to Coolsculpting. Another word that is given to this procedure is cryolipolysis. This is a technique that involves freezing fat cells in those hard to reach places when it comes o your weight loss journey. This is rather new procedure that was brought up not too long ago. According to Houston Lipo Center, it’s FDA approved to achieve non-invasive fat reduction on areas such as the stomach, thighs, and flanks. It’s probably about 1/3 the cost of liposuction and will probably require multiple treatments to reach the goals you have.
Taking the information from these two weight loss procedures, you have to keep in mind that they are just an aid to your weight loss journey. The most foolproof way to get that weight off and KEEP it off is to keep up with a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Fat is an essential part of the human body but too much can be problematic. That is why you should always keep your health in mind. It’s also good to keep in mind that not everybody’s body is made the same. What might work for you may not work for someone else. It’s good to check up with your doctor and plastic surgeon to figure out what is the best way to reach your goal.
