Can A Facelift Help Your Breakouts?

There are many people that have struggled with acne at some point in their lives. Acne is something that many people associate with adolescence but for some it can be a lifelong issue. You can get breakouts throughout your teenage years or you can never get any breakout. Regardless, it’s a problem that many people have been trying to find the “cure” for.

We don’t mean to burst anyone bubble but sadly there aren’t any cures for acne. This is something that many people get and it has a lot to do with their hormones, genes, lifestyle, and even mood. What IS out there are different ways that you may be able to reduce the amount of breakouts you get so that you can start loving your skin more.

There are times where a case of acne can be so intense that it may even leave permanent scarring on the face. This brings down your confidence and makes you question whom you see in the mirror. That’s why we want to help you understand the different ways that you can reduce scarring on the face.

One service that some people have used is facelifts. This may seem like an extreme route to take but for some it can be the best option. Before you go and make any appointments we want to give you some more information.

According to The Clinic Of Facial Plastic Surgery, facelifts help rejuvenate the appearance by flattening and tightening the skin. If you think about it this will help reduce wrinkles and other creases in the skin. The short-term answer to it removing the acne scars is, to an extent. There are many times where the depth of the scar is too deep to be fixed with the facelift. This means that it’s not always the 100% go to fix.

There are many other forms of treatment that many people use to try and get rid of their facial scarring. One of them is a chemical peel. This isn’t like the masks that you use on your self-care night. This is something much stronger. A chemical peel is made up of a strong acid that removes the top layer of the skin. Because of this, the appearances of the deeper scars are reduced.

Another great way to reduce acne scars is with microneedling. This is one of the newer ways but it’s rapidly growing. This treatment uses a small, handheld, needed roller on the surface of the scars. These needles are used to puncture the surface of the skin but don’t go too deeply. When they begin to heal then more collagen is made.

What you should take away from this is that acne scars are very frustrating at some point in your life. The good thing is that there are many treatments that can help reduce their appearance and make you fall in love with your skin again.
