Easy Skincare Hacks For A Healthier Looking You!

Keeping our skin clear has been something people have been trying to perfect for years. While some people have been blessed with clear skin most if their life, others haven’t been so lucky. Sadly, there isn’t a cure for acne. One a better note, there are some things that you can do to make sure your skin is getting taken care of the right way.

The skincare industry is growing by the minute as more people try to figure out the best ways to take care of their skin. If only it were as easy as following everything you read online. With that being said, it’s important that you always check in with your dermatologist to understand the type of skin you have.

That’s the first tip we want to share with you. According to Huda Beauty, knowing your skin type is just as important as your skincare routine. This is because if you don’t know the type of skin you have, you may be buying the wrong things to put on your face. In the long run this is going to have negative effects on how your skin looks.

Now that you know what type of skin you have, let us help you with the next step. More is not better when it comes to skincare! A lot of people think that to be able to have the best skin, you have to have the most expensive skincare and the strongest ones as well. This isn’t true. While it may be tempting to put only the best of the best on your skin, it doesn’t always mean you’re going to have the best results. Drugstore skincare CAN be your best friend! All you have to do is find the right ones for you.

Once you’ve figured out the kind of skincare you’ll be getting, it’s time to put it to the test. A lot of people don’t know that there’s actually a specific order that you should put your skincare on. This is important because if you put your skincare on in the wrong order, this can hinder the way that your skin absorbs it. The best way to go about your skincare regime is: cleanse/rinse, toner, serum. Eye cream, face cream, and then sunscreen.

This brings us to one of the final steps. That is to make sure you’re putting sunscreen on EVERYDAY, even if you aren’t in the sun. The UV rays are harmful to our skin and skipping out on that important step is a big mistake a lot of people make. The sunscreen will help protect your skin form a lot of the damaging effects of the sun we didn’t know about. This brings you closer to healthier looking skin.

At YMD a healthier and more confident looking you is what we strive for. Our SkinMedica products will be able to do just that! Not only do they make sure that your skin is nice and safe, they’re a great addition to your skincare routine! If you want to hear more al you have to do is give us a call. While we’re at it, we’ll also help schedule a FREE consultation for you!
